Counselling & Psycotherapy
Jacqui is an accredited psychotherapist with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and is a strong believer in psychotherapy and its ability to empower and transform. She offers a safe therapeutic relationship which assists clients to explore their fears, concerns, unhelpful behaviours, limiting beliefs and difficult relationships, while at the same time offering tools and techniques to grapple with these issues.
Jacqui treats a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, stress management, anger management, addictions, grief and loss and adult attachment issues.
Having studied, practiced and taught mindfulness for over 25 years, she has a particular interest in eastern philosophy and how it intersects with western psychology. She is an experienced educator and has worked extensively within the education system as a secondary school teacher. She has also been fortunate enough to work as a well-being consultant to enhance well-being for teachers and other staff within secondary schools.
